Message from the Campaign Chair

“Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares,” our campaign theme, speaks directly to the spirit of Carolina employees. The principal aim is to strengthen and sustain North Carolina communities and their citizens. Your gifts to the Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares charitable giving campaign have promoted positive change in our community, our state and around the world.

It’s easy enough to Google, but it’s even easier to see, hear and feel the difference that our contributions make in our community, our nation and our world. It’s the children who have nutritious food to eat on the weekends, when they aren’t getting breakfast and lunch at school. It’s the families that have a stable roof over their heads for the first time. It’s the animals who finally have a safe and loving forever home. That’s the difference our work over the next two months can make. That is what Carolina Cares, Carolina Shares is focused on. 

Please give as generously as you can, but remember – any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference in someone’s life. Please join me and other UNC-Chapel Hill employees and choose to give again this year. You can designate your contribution to any one or more charities listed on this website or in the campaign materials you’ve received. Thank you for your support.
